Wednesday 1 June - Chattanooga Classic
We arrived here on Tuesday and I have been working
hard on the range plus played a practice round. I have an
"late-early", meaning I am playing on Thursday afternoon
and then on Friday morning. There is no advantage or disadvantage
as far as I am concerned, you just go and play and sometimes
you get lucky with the weather and most of the time it makes
no odds. After making a couple of top 40s on the PGA TOUR,
it wil be good to make a cut on the Nationwide Tour and work
on my ranking on this Tour. Believe me the quality of golf
out here is extremely good! I'll catch up with you later in
the week, Bye for now, Per
Sunday 5 June - Chattanooga Classic 68, 74
Sorry about the delay updating the site - I have been running
around and not had the chance to get to my computer or email!
I missed the cut in Chattanooga, mainly through a disappointing
2nd round 74, following my opening 68. I am making cuts on
the PGA TOUR, but struggling to make one out here on the Naionwide
Tour. It shows the strength of depth on Tour. I will get back
to you from the LaSalle Open. We will travel up there on Tuesday,

Wednesday 8 June - LaSalle Bank Open
This is a terrific golf course and one that will produce higher
scores than you normally see on the Nationwide Tour. I am
a player that generally does well when par is meaningful.
Those -25 scores are not for me. I like to grind it out! We
arrived here on Tuesday and are having a good time in great
weather. I have an afternoon tee time on Thursday. I will
get back to you after the round as I have my computer with
me this week! Bye for now, Per
Thursday 9 June - LaSalle Bank Open - 69 (-2)
A solid days play at The Glen Club. I started from the 10th
and hit fairways and greens all day. I was out in 1 under
with a birdie on 16 from a foot. I had a number of other makeable
chances but the putter was a little cool today. Turning for
home, I made birdies on 1 and 5 but gave one back on the par4
5th. All in all a good day and this puts me in the top 30
going into Fridays round. I have still to make a cut on the
Nationwide Tour - this is a good place to start with the biggest
purse of the year. I am only 4 off the pace and another score
in the 60s should move me up the board. Catch up after the
round, Per
Friday 10 June - LaSalle Bank Open - 72 (+1)
A really mixed day with 4 birdies, 5 bogeys and 9 pars. Heading
up the 18th I thought I needed birdie to make the cut and
I hit a couple of good shots to set birdie up on the par 5.
As it turned out I had one to spare. I finally made a cut
on the Nationwide Tour! It's a good cut to make with the biggest
purse and now I can focus on a couple of really good rounds
at the weekend and move up the board. The field is tightly
bunched, so anything is possible. I am off early from the
10th tee and you can follow the scoring on PGATOUR.com. Catch
up later, Per
Saturday/Sunday 11/12 June - LaSalle Bank Open - 78
(+7), 66 (-5)
What a couple of days it has been! After making the cut I
was looking forward to a good day on Saturday - not one in
which I didn't make a birdie all day - nothing went my way
and it was one of those days when the harder I tried the worse
it got. I was very proud of my play on Sunday. It would have
been very easy to thrown in the towel, as I was in last place
and just go though the motions. Thats not me! I tried my heart
out and put together a 66 to move back up the field and make
about $500 more than last place. Playing for pride is a big
thing and I went the whole of Sunday with out a bogey! I am
now taking a short break to Sweden to see my family. I have
played 6 of the last 7 weeks and need some time away from
the golf course - catch up soon, Per
