Monday 4 July - Stockholm, Sweden
Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the USA!
My recovery is continuing, a little slower than I had hoped,
but I am getting there. I am back on the golf course and working
hard for a comeback at the Scandinavian Masters in Barseback
at the end of the month. The plan is then to return to the
PGA TOUR, depending on how my hip is recovering. I will keep
you posted and in the meanwhile thanks for all the notes from
around the world wishing me a speedy recovery. Bye for now,

Thursday 29 July - Scandinavian Masters - 77 (+5)
Today was my first competitive round since March
and I made it around 18 holes. I can still feel my hip, but
I am pleased to have posted a number. I wasn't too happy with
that number and I am certainly "ring rusty". I made
a few bogeys and a double on the par 3 4th, but managed a
birdie to shoot 77. This puts me down the field and in need
of a good score to make the weekend, but I know the Barseback
course well, so I will be trying my best. The crowd here at
the course, which is near to Malmo in the west of Sweden are
very knowledgeable and I have had a great welcome back to
golf. My diary will resume now I am back! Next stop after
Sweden is Colorado for The International. I hope I can report
good news after round 2. Bye for now, Per
